Stage 6 : Year 11 and Year 12 Mathematics

Any attempt to provide Internet references for the Year 11 (Preliminary) and the Year 12 (HSC) courses would be a duplication of the NSW HSC On-Line Mathematics materials.

The following represents a description of the site if you have not visited it before. A new site reflecting the materials of the New HSC is currently being developed.

NSW HSC On-Line is a Charles Sturt University initiative being developed as a joint venture with the New South Wales Department of School Education, with co-operation from the NSW Board of Studies and the Joint Council of NSW Professional Teachers' Associations, and the support of Access Australia CMC.

NSW HSC On-Line is a focussed web site providing students and teachers with original resources and links to carefully selected sites on the Internet. NSW HSC On-Line is available now with material on the site being developed by teachers and academics under strict quality control.

NSW HSC On-Line provides students and teachers with:

• tutorial resources and links to quality sites around the world for selected HSC subjects. Currently information is available for Agriculture, Computing Studies, English, Geography, Japanese, Mathematics, Drama, Modern History and the distinction subject Cosmology
• links to the NSW Board of Studies site for the latest information about the HSC syllabuses, past examination papers and examiners' comments
• communication facilities that are of particular advantage to isolated students and teachers
• links to home pages of schools both within NSW and other States of Australia

NSW HSC On-Line provides students with:

• a study methods and examination techniques area to assist in managing learning and enhancing examination performance
• information relating to post schools options in the Broadening Horizons area
